Guided Local History

Description

The Churchill Guided Historical Walk is a 1.8 km circular walk with 19 predetermined commentary points, conducted by volunteers from the Churchill and District Community Association.

The walk begins inside Churchill Café & Pizza HQ, 1 Georgina Place, with a short slide presentation showcasing Churchill’s flora and fauna and the town’s development since 1965. The guide will introduce key historic images before departing on the walk.

The route is relatively flat along concrete paths, with one gentle slope of approximately 10 metres. Taking around two hours at a comfortable pace, the walk offers a deeper understanding of Churchill’s history and community spirit.
